Sneakerhead Shoebox is always working on ways to make our products stand out from the crowd. We have a sweltering focus on quality, durability, creativeness and functionality. Because we've been building boxes for well over 9 years, we’re always revamping and tweaking every detail of our product to make it better for our customers each and every time.

You can rest assured that every detail of our boxes is made with nothing but top of the line products. From the wood, to the paint, to the drawer slides. We now use the blumotion full extension drawer slide system for all of our boxes. Blumotion slides are known to be incredibly smooth and equipped with a self-closing mechanism that engages before the drawer is closed.

Because we use real wood in our design, the weight of the drawer can become a problem over time if the right equipment is not used. Not only have we improved our drawer slide system, but we feel that the custom pictures that our customers select for their inside drawer placement should be protected and held up in the highest regard.

So now, we are using an acrylic protective sheet, which will be placed over pictures that are chosen to go inside, on the bottom of the pull-out drawer. Not only does this protect the precious memorabilia, it also makes the image POP, making our boxes that much more AWESOME!!

True Sneaker heads can store their special collection of shoes in style! Our small size box is 32x19x19 and holds 8-10 pairs, medium box is 42 x19x19 and holds 11-16 pairs, and our large size box is 42x27x20 (without wheels). Shoebox's that have hat racks installed are built taller in height to accommodate the hat rack. Please compare your shoe size to get an idea of how many shoes will fit. If you have custom dimensions that you would like us to use, we would be happy to build to your specs.

Please be mindful that the boxes weigh around 90-100lbs, and ships at 240lbs once crated, which impacts shipping prices.

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for me to build (during high volume periods wait time may be 6-8 weeks) and send out handmade products; times vary based on volume.

MOCK UPS

If you are interested in getting a mockup of your design idea before purchasing, there will be an upfront fee ranging from $30-$90, depending on the details required. This fee is necessary because we will need to compensate the graphic artist for his time and work. This fee is non-refundable.

AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER

After placing your order we kindly ask for your patience, as well as, a good phone number and shoe size tag you would like on the side of your shoebox. If you do not provide this information to us, your delivery could be delayed. Freight companies will not deliver until they call and speak to you first to setup delivery appointment (please see shipping section below) We will place a generic size tag on the shoebox if custom size is provided and any change request would require an additional fee once already placed on shoebox. If you are submitting custom pictures to be used on your shoebox, please ensure the picture quality is high resolution. Pictures that are low resolution may not print as clear and quality may be affected.

CORRESPONDANCE NOTICE

Please do not panic if we do not respond immediately, our order volume is pretty heavy year around and we are working in the shop most of the day, however, we will follow up with your message typically within 24-48 hours if not sooner. We have a very small crew of artist, but we are very passionate about making your shoebox the best it can be.

Although we do our best to get boxes out ASAP, these are individually handmade and not manufactured. As a result, boxes can take time to be fully completed. We can have box out before a specific date but shipping is out of our control, as we are only provided estimated arrival time based on the freight carriers system. In most cases, these estimates are accurate but not always. Delays can also be caused by weather related and/or natural disaster events.

We use the highest quality materials from cabinet grade real wood all the way to the veneer, struts, paint etc. We do not cut corners and details are very important. Our process and attention to detail is unparalleled. You get high quality when ordering from us!!

PAYMENT PLANS
We offer flexible payment plans. The total cost of your box + shipping can be broken up into 2 payments. We’ll take half up front, and the remaining balance once the box is completed. If you need more time or if you want to break total into more than 2 payments, we may be able to arrange on a case by case basis.
You can also finance our products via Klarna Financing which is at option an checkout.

*IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTICE*

When you purchase from us, door to door shipping is included with your purchase. This means your shoebox will arrive at your place of residents. Also included in your purchase is liftgate services, when freight carriers deliver to a residential area, a liftgate charge is included in the shipping cost. Most carriers are use to delivering to a warehouse where forklifts are available to remove from truck, but as we know, most private residences do not have forklifts, as a result, freight companies will charge a liftgate fee. We build a box around your shoebox in order to protect it from damage during transit, this is known as a crate. We also strap the shoebox down to the pallet so it cannot move during transit. These extra measures to ensure safe shipping takes time and is a process itself, however, we believe in going the extra mile for our customer.

****CUSTOMERS WHO LIVE IN APARTMENTS ABOVE THE GROUND LEVEL****

If you live in an apartment and are not on the ground floor, the freight company WILL NOT carry freight up stairs, this will require a different type of service that most freight companies do not offer. You will need to arrange for your shoebox to be carried up any stairs. We cannot pay for this type of white glove service, however, we can assist in finding a company who can assist but this will require you to pay an extra fee.
Also, freight companies will not uncrate your item, you will need to uncrate your shoebox or have a few helping hands to assist with uncrating. Typically, all you would need is a pry tool, but if you have a power drill with star bits and a hammer, it may be helpful as well. It is recommended that 2 people pickup and carry your shoebox inside your residence or commercial property, as these items are considered furniture and can be too heavy for one person and may cause damage to the item if attempted to carry by one person. If your shoebox is on wheels, double check the wheel levers to ensure they are not locked, sometimes we lock the wheels, so the shoebox does not move around in transit. The wheels have levers that say on and off, if the shoebox does not roll smoothly, one or more of the locks may be activated.

SHIPPING INFO

You must set an appointment for delivery within a certain time frame, typically within a week, after your box arrives in your city. If your box sits at the carrier’s terminal for an extended amount of days without you scheduling a time for delivery or if Freight Company is not able to get in touch with you, the booked freight company may charge storage fees. We will not allow for those fees to be authorized unless paid in advance by the customer. In cases where freight carrier cannot get in touch with you to schedule an appointment, we would give freight company permission to deliver your box to your requested destination and the box will be left in the most secure spot available on site of delivery location in order for each party to avoid paying storage fees.
If you would like to purchase insurance on any freight please contact us for more information and pricing. Although 98% of our freight is shipped without damage, in rare cases, it is possible that damage could occur by a carrier. In rare cases like this, WE cannot be financially responsible, however, we will file a damage claim with that carrier on behalf of customer for reimbursements for damage. It is up to the carrier to remedy these sorts of issues.

LAST MINUTE ADDRESS CHANGES

Any last minute address changes, once shipment is in transit can be accommodated, however, the freight fees associated with change of address will need to be paid by the customer before the request is formally sent to carrier.

CLAIMS OF LOST/STOLEN/DAMAGED ITEMS

Although having your item lost, stolen, or damaged upon arrival is very rare, claims are made through and directly with the freight carrier. Sneakerhead Shoebox IS NOT responsible for these incidences, however, we will assist in any possible throughout the claims process. The claims process usually takes anywhere from 30 – 60 days.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We can ship globally, but the prices will vary and can be quite costly. Most international shipments will go by sea and can take 30-40 days to reach destination port (If you would like to receive your box faster, air freight is available). This is in addition to the time it will take to build your box. You have several options with international shipping, either door to door, or door to port. If you decide to ship door to port, you may be subject to custom fees and taxes depending on the country. On all door to door international shipments, in most cases, you will not have to pay separate international custom fees. However, most countries do require duties and taxes to be paid, this varies depending on country. We do not assume any financial responsibility for international customs, taxes, duties, storage etc. Customer are responsible for any and all charges occurred during international shipping.

WE HAVE A NO CANCELLATION POLICY

If we have already started on your project that means we have already put time and money into it, therefore these resources are not able to be recouped, thanks for understanding.
****Due to size, customization and high shipping cost, returns are not accepted and all sales are final, however we will work with you to resolve any issues.
